Pins - Split - Plain

Split pins.

Split pins have two prongs which separate during installation to keep compenents in place. Commonly used within machine and automotive applications.

Material is steel.

Hole size indicated is maximum for the pin to be effective. If the pin you require is not available, you may be able to use the next larger diameter so long as the pin is smaller than your hole size. Longer lengths may be cut back to a suitable length.

Also known as cotter pins.
