Banded thrust ball bearings.

Ideal for use in exposed locations where protection from dust, dirt, water, or other foreign matter is required. The balls are retained between two hardened steel races banded together by a mild steel or brass sleeve on the outside diameter. V grooved raceways on this bearing enable it to carry radial loads equal to 25% of its thrust load capacity, while decreasing the amount of friction created by a full contact round groove design. Typically has more balls per bearing, thus providing greater thrust capacity than a 3 piece retained style bearing of similar dimensions.
